mind of persia concept
Last night I was inspired to do a painting based on the concept of Persian identity in Iran. I did a few quick, rough thumbnails, about 2"x1" or so to develop the idea. This was the one that I felt best captured the concept.

Have you thought of doing something like this in goache? the density and lines might work really well together

I really find this composition to be compelling, in a graphic and symbolic sense. For a thumbnail, there's an amazing sense of longing, and the weight of history on the human character.
